Quick Progress Check-in

Dear Backers,

I hope you’ve all had a lovely festive period and a smooth start to the year. I wanted to share a quick update now that we’re properly back into work mode.

We’ve received the Kickstarter funds and have sent the final print files for the deck and the companion book to the factory for technical checks. Due to the fast approaching Chinese New Year holidays, and the factory’s scheduled servicing of their printing equipment before the break, the actual printing will begin once they return in Feb. I’ll be honest — I hadn’t specifically anticipated the machine servicing, but I did build enough buffer into the schedule when planning fulfilment, so this is already covered within the April shipping estimate.

The hardcover art book is about 95% complete and will be printed in the UK. The 9 backers who ordered only the book will have their copies dispatched from the UK in February, as planned.

I’ve also been finalising the most efficient way to handle UK-based add-ons. The plan is to ship them in bulk to the Chinese factory, together with the art books, so orders can be completed from one location — this is both faster and more cost-effective for you, dear backers.

I’ll continue to keep you updated as things move forward. In the meantime, the team and I are already working on some exciting new projects, so stay tuned.

Thank you!!

Olena

Campaign Complete — Thank You, Everyone! ❤️
8 months ago – Wed, Dec 10, 2025 at 03:38:30 AM

What an incredible four weeks!
Thanks to 367 backers, the campaign has closed at £17,717 — more than ten times the original goal. And with your support, all five stretch goals have been unlocked, which means the deck will be even more beautiful and detailed than I ever imagined at the beginning.

Thank you for bringing Fractals of Nature to life ❤️

✨ What Happens Next

Over the next couple of weeks, while I wait for the Kickstarter payout, I’ll be finalising all the print files for the deck, the companion book, and the hardcover art book. My goal is to have everything fully prepared so the production order can be placed with the printing company as soon as the funds arrive.

Taking into account the holiday period, printing is expected to take around 45 days. I’ll keep everyone updated throughout the process.

Once the print order is confirmed, I’ll send the Backer Survey so you can provide your address details, select your add-ons and pay the shipping fee.

Thank you again, truly, for supporting this quiet, reflective project and helping it grow far beyond what I hoped for. I can’t wait to share the next steps with you, and I’m also looking forward to bringing 4 more exciting projects to Kickstarter in 2026.

Warmest wishes,

Olena 🌿

Thank you! We are now fully funded and unlocked the 1st stretch goal!

Good day everyone,

I just wanted to pause for a moment and say a heartfelt thank you to all 75 of you who have already backed Fractals of Nature. We’ve now crossed £3K — and in doing so, you’ve helped unlock Stretch Goal #1: coloured matte edges with gold particles. I genuinely couldn’t imagine this deck without them!

It also snowed here in London this morning — and of course, snowflakes are fractals. A small sign (at least to me) that creating this deck was worth it. I’ll admit, I had moments of doubt about whether people would appreciate this project the way I felt it… and everything that could go wrong with the launch did go wrong, haha. But here we are: 75 backers, funding fully reached, and our first stretch goal unlocked. I’m incredibly grateful.

I’ve now added a GIF on the campaign page showing more of the card artwork, and I’m sharing it here as well so you can see more of the collection in motion.

I’m also preparing a shareable preview of the companion book, which I’ll be posting very, very soon — it’s almost ready.

Thank you again for supporting this quiet, reflective project. It means more than I can say.
